Congratulations to Nepro Vice-President Craig Korsen who achieved a perfect score of 24, winning six of six heats and his best personal time ever. Craig was called to his first place Contest victory by third place finisher Don Ouimette.
Congratulations to my student and now former nine-lap Standard Class Pilot Mike Maznicki who captured an incredible fast-time for the day of 1:14.02 defeating my former master Lloyd Burnham in the 21st heat by only 1.25 seconds. Congratulations Mike and welcome to Expert. I know you will enjoy swimming in the “shark-tank” come next race in Salem.
Congratulations to father daughter team, NCRCC Activities Director Irv Thurrott and Jessica Haxhi. Irv and Jessica finished in consecutive order, capturing seventh and eighth place finishes, respectively. By contests end, Irv eked out a one-point overall points lead and a 0.04 second low-time advantage and was later misquoted as saying –that he taught Jessica all that she knows but not everything that he knows.
Congratulations to first-time Expert pilot Dennis Duplice with a very respectable mid-pack 15th place finish and an extremely competitive Low-time of 1:23.29.
Congratulations to current Standard Class Points leader Bob Triggs, who won best 2011 impact with a pylon, pending the results of the future Salem, CT Two-day event.
Congratulations to Sportsman pilot Eric Waterman for this first place Sportsman finish and completing all six heats under the required breakout time of two-minutes. Welcome to Standard.
Congratulations to John Burrows, and Bud (Guy) Beaudion Jr. for also breaking into Standard with second and third place finishes, respectively. Welcome also to Standard.
Thank you to Contest Director Ralph Rinaldi for “CD”ing our contest. Fantastic job! So flawless that we ran six rounds and avoided fly-offs. Thank you Ray Dolat for your Super-Human job as Starter.
Thank you to HCRC Contest Director Dave Fogg who was in attendance and facilitated and expedited transfer of AMA sanctioning in a matter of days.
Thank you former President Bill Jensen for you continued generosity in providing yet another Thunder Tiger Pro40 BB to First place Sportsman finisher Eric Waterman who traveled 3-1/2 hours with three other Sportsman Race participants. We continue to support our Sportsman Pilots.
Thank you to the NCRCC Club for your generosity, and special thanks to the officership for your foresight of mind, quick work and action.
Thank you to the workers. Thank you Bob B’T for doing a great job as announcer.
Thank you M. and L. for running the computer matrix so I could better concentrate and enjoy racing.
